The Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers have taken the wraps off renderings of their new arena on the former Spectrum site in South Philadelphia, which the two organizations are touting as the biggest fully privately funded project in the city's history. The arena is currently targeted to open prior to the 2030 WNBA season when Philadelphia's expansion team is due to start play. The Sixers, owned by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), are 50-50 partners with Comcast Spectacor in the new arena.
