AEG Teams Up With Diversify the Stage to Promote Inclusivity in Live Entertainment Industry

AEG has partnered with Diversify The Stage (DTS) to advance inclusivity in the live entertainment and touring industry, and signed the DTS Inclusion Initiative pledge. "We believe that talent is everywhere, and we must work together to provide more access for people who are underrepresented and foster a culture of belonging so everyone can thrive," said AEG's Jae Pi'ilani Requiro, Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. DTS is a network of industry professionals and community engagement organizations jointly striving to instill a culture of accountability to create more inclusive hiring practices and greater access to equitable opportunities in live music, events and touring industries. The DTS Inclusion Initiative offers guidance and recommendations targeting Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access objectives that support promoting the DTS mission of emphasizing inclusion for Black, Indigenous and People of Color; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer; and Female-Identifying, Gender Nonconforming Individuals and Disabled Persons across the entire entertainment landscape. DTS encourages considering such practices during recruitment, talent bookings, on-boarding, retention, promotion, rewards, benefits programs, succession planning and off-boarding processes.
