Members of the legendary rock group AC/DC recently announced European tour dates for this summer, which include a July 8 stop at the Düsseldorf Open Air Park. According to the venue's operator, D.Live, that concert will mark "the beginning of a completely new era for open-air events in Düsseldorf and Germany." The Open Air Park Düsseldorf boasts a maximum capacity of 80,000 guests and is located adjacent to the Düsseldorf fairgrounds and Merkur Spiel-Arena. "The new venue will finally fill a geographical gap for 'super shows' and festivals,” states D.Live CEO Michael Brill.
