Spektrix, the leading cloud-based box office software for arts and entertainment organisations, has been selected by Aberdeen Performing Arts to improve and streamline their online booking experience and provide deeper insights into customer behaviour. Aberdeen Performing Arts is the fourth arts organisation in Scotland to move to the cloud-based system in 2018 and in doing so joins a growing community of fourteen other Scottish arts organisations who use Spektrix as their ticketing and CRM provider.
A charitable trust founded in 2004, Aberdeen Performing Arts operates three venues with a total capacity of 3322. The organisation had an objective to consolidate the disparate box office and marketing systems used in its venues, simplifying operations so that teams could be more efficient, have easier access to data to inform decision making, and have a deeper understanding of their diverse audiences and consumer behaviour.
By moving to Spektrix, Aberdeen Performing Arts has been able to unify fundraising, CRM, ticketing, and e-commerce in one system to gain a comprehensive view of customer needs and add additional touch points along the customer journey to drive engagement with bookers.
Leon Gray, Head of Business Transformation for Aberdeen Performing Arts, said: “As an organisation focussed on ticketing, marketing and fundraising in the arts sector, we felt that Spektrix was the best partner to support our business.”
Spektrix helps arts and entertainment organisations benefit from powerful and easy-to-use box office software accessed through the internet. With no local installation required, the cloud-based software makes it easy for venues in Scotland and beyond to improve online ticketing and gain real-time control over pricing and inventory. Spektrix’s CRM, marketing and fundraising functionality will help Aberdeen Performing Arts take advantage of sophisticated segmentation and analysis tools to help automate re-engagement strategies and create efficiencies to develop new audiences, as well as helping them identify potential new members.
Brooke Gallagher, Senior Account Manager at Spektrix, said “Our solution is an excellent fit for Aberdeen Performing Arts because of its flexibility, easy configuration, and the operational efficiencies it can bring to marketing and fundraising for multiple venues and events. Our success depends on our customers’ success and we look forward to supporting them across a long and collaborative relationship.”
“Spektrix offers a level of automation and new opportunities for us to improve the customer journey. This is a big step forward and opens up a lot of avenues for new development and growth,” added Gray. “We believe working with Spektrix will keep us at the forefront of ticketing operations and provide audiences with a better booking experience.”
