Mariah Carey, Cyndi Lauper, OutKast and Phish are among the nominees for this year's induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The list includes two sets of musical brothers who have had public feuds and recent reunions — the Black Crowes and Oasis. Including OutKast and Phish, eight of the 14 nominees are on the ballot for the first time. The other six are Bad Company, the Black Crowes, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol and Maná. Joy Division/New Order, Soundgarden and the White Stripes round out the performer nominees. The 2025 inductees will be revealed in late April and will include inductees entering the Hall under three special committee categories: Musical excellence, Musical influence and the Ahmet Ertegun Non-Performer Award.
