The Score reports that ticket prices to the 2020 National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Game skyrocketed as the game drew near. As of Feb. 13, the cheapest ticket listed on StubHub was $776, which comes to $1,040 with fees, and only covers seats on the upper level baseline. Lower-level seats ranged from about $9,000 to 11,000, with the priciest in that category running up to $11,494 without fees, and $15,328 with fees. One ticket listed on StubHub was on sale for a staggering $97,092, which including fees amounted to $129,458 in total. The 2020 NBA All-Star weekend stood out from previous weekends in that new rules were in place to honor the late Kobe Bryant and the other victims of the tragic helicopter crash.
